When I was young I thought a basket was a pretty good place to sleep. That was before I discovered how much more comfortable Doug's bed is.

Here Mary is teaching me to stand still and pose for the camera - a valuable lesson for a dog with a public profile. I'm a bit skinny still, aren't I?

A pity I cannot fit under the spare bed any more - it makes a good hiding place for a pup.

Doug was so proud when I reached one year of age that he sat me down, wrote my age on a piece of cardboard and photographed me.

It's hard to believe but sometimes a dog can get too many cuddles.
